Our journey into the Arctic night begins with a pickup from your hotel or cabin. Together with a local guide we search for the best places to witness the Northern Lights. Sometimes the auroras remain hidden or clouds cover the sky, but even without auroras, you will enjoy the silence, darkness and remoteness of Lapland.
We will also visit one of the rare villages preserved during the war, where you can warm up by an outdoor fire with hot chokolate or juice. Around the flames you can grill a sausage the local way or roast marshmallows.
Inside a cozy restaurant you´ll have local turnip soup with hommade bread and chance to buy other drinks, warm yourself and use facilities during our stay.
How to prepare
Camera settings: Adjust your phone or camera in advance to capture amazing photos of the auroras.
Inform us of allergies: Please let us know beforehand if you have any dietary restrictions.
Payment
Payment will be made upon pickup. Card payments are preferred, but cash is also accepted.
Journey Distance and Duration
Depending on weather and visibility, we may stay in one spot or move between several areas. The duration of the trip may vary slightly.
Northern Lights Disclaimer
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and we cannot guarantee sightings or the shapes they may take. To the naked eye, auroras often appear white, while cameras can capture vivid colors such as green and red.
Cancelling
The trip will be cancelled if the weather forecast predicts conditions that make aurora viewing impossible, such as snowstorms, heavy fog, or thick cloud cover. In case of cancellation due to weather, you will not be charged.
If you need to cancel your booking, please inform us as early as possible so we can adjust our arrangements.
Last-minute cancellations may be subject to a fee, depending on circumstances.
